Im-/Exporting Pokémon

SkyTemple allows to export or import Pokemon data. To do that, select the slot you wish to export data from(or import data to) and select Export or Import, depending on your need.

What can be exported?

• Current/Other Gender Form settings(contains general settings, like base stats, movement types, abilities, movement type, etc.)
• Names(of the pokemon and the category)
• Stat Growth(which stats grow after a level up and by how much)
• Movement data
• Portraits of current and other gender forms

How the data can be exported?

You can either save it as .xml file(to manually edit it or use it in another ROM) or import the data directly to a different Pokemon slot.

What is "other gender form"?

Any pokemon usually contains two slots for two genders, one with the same number as entity ID, one with the number of entity ID+600. Exporting other gender form's data will export the data from both of these slots, then, whenever you import the data, SkyTemple will grab data depending on which slot you import the data to.

How to import the data?

To import, press on Import button and select XML file you exported, then, if no errors are found, the data from a file will be imported to the selected slot.
