After clearing Eastern Cave, Armaldo and Igglytuff arrive to a room with the door and weird puzzling design. While Armaldo tries to think of how to solve it, Igglytuff manages to do that immediately. Door opens, duo goes inside and opens a chest with a Defend Globe. Igglytuff asks if he can be Armaldo's apprentice and, after some hesitation, Armaldo agrees. For the next several months, they have a lot of explorations. One day, after one of successful outing, Armaldo says that tomorrow, they'll go to Fortune Ravine.

Armalso and Igglybuff arrive to the dead end with a door. They decide to blow out the torches, trying to open the door, but instead, they fall into a pit and get into a Monster House. Also contains a cutscene if the player already fainted in the fight at least once

After defeating the Monster House, Armaldo and Igglybuff go onward towards the light and see what seems to be ruins of an ancient city. The exploration gets cut short, however - police arrive as soon as they are about to go in. Turns out, Armaldo is an A-rank outlaw. When Armaldo gets taken away, Igglybuff tries to use his powers to stop it, but Armaldo stops him. Right before going out, he throws Igglybuff a Defend Globe. Chatot asks Wigglytuff what happened to him, but he decides to not answer.
