SameTypePartner is an ASM Patch by End54. It is located under the Improvements and Tweaks tab in Patches -> ASM. This patch allows the partner Pokémon to be the same type as the player in the personality test. Without this patch, only partner Pokémon that do not match the player Pokémon's type will be selectable.
