Overview
FixEvolutionGlitch is an ASM Patch by Anonymous. It is located under the Bugfixes tab in Patches -> ASM.
This patch fixes the evolution glitch that freezes the game when attempting to evolve a pokémon whose name has 10 characters.
Important:
- The EU version of the game does not have this glitch. As such, the patch is incompatible with EU ROMs.
- The JP version of the game does have this glitch, but it cannot occur under normal circumstances, due to names being limited to 5 characters.
