Online functionality for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky has been unavailable since the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection servers were shut down in 2014. Thanks to the project pelipper-test by Irdkwia, most services can be accessed again on unmodified copies of the game via a Nintendo DS or compatible emulator like MelonDS.

Public servers

You can connect to one of the following publicly available servers:

How to Connect

Follow these steps in-game to connect to a custom server.

1. On the Top Menu, go to Other -> Nintendo WFC -> Nintendo WFC Settings, click Yes

2. Establish a valid connection if you haven’t already (if you’re using the MelonDS emulator, there should already be one called `melonAP`.)

3. Turn “Auto-obtain DNS” off.

4. Change “Primary DNS” to the IP address of the server you want to connect to.

5. Save settings and test your connection. If it successfully connects, you are on the server!
